Free update for The Legend of Zelda: Triforce Heroes adds ‘Den of Trials’

Nintendo announced today plans to release a new free update for The Legend of Zelda: Triforce Heroes on Nintendo 3DS.

The new update will add the "Den of Trials," a new area with 30-plus stages. The twist is that you and your team must defeat every enemy in the stage before you can advance. There will be checkpoints sprinkled throughout, however.

In addition to the new stages, two new outfits will be released — Linebeck's Uniform, which lets you see inside of treasure chests, and Fierce Deity Armor, which increases attack power and shoots beams in four different directions.

The free update for Tri Force Heroes will be released on December 2nd.
