Back in October of 2015, developer IllFonic and Publisher Gun Media revealed that they were working on a Friday the 13th Multiplayer game that went to Kickstarter for additional funding. $823,704 later, the campaign wrapped up as a huge success but unfortunately appeared to hit a few snags in the form of a delay, which in turn promised to add a campaign to the previously multiplayer-only game. Starting today, players on PC, Xbox One, and PS4 can grab the game for $40 as a digital download title.
Early user feedback on the game is currently rated as "Mostly Positive" on Steam, with 79% of users saying the game is worth a buy. Several users are reporting that there is "not much of a game" at launch, which includes three maps but not the previously mentioned single player. Single player is due to arrive as a free add-on sometime this summer.
Will you be picking up Friday The 13th? As of right now, the store pages for the game are live on Steam and Xbox One. PS4 owners should have access to the game at some point later today.
