Full Throttle Remastered gets an official release date, pre-orders live exclusively on GOG.com

Full Throttle, the classic 2D adventure from 1995, is making a return this year with a Remastered version on the newly announced release date of April 18th, 2017. Much like Grim Fandango and Day of the Tentacle before it, game development legend Tim Schafer and Double Fine have maintained the integrity of what made the original game great. GOG.com has opened pre-orders on the game and currently hold exclusivity over doing so.

Taking plunge ahead of release through GOG.com will net you a 20% discount, and on top of that, GOG is hosting a 6-day sale on the biggest games in their Double Fine catalog which includes the previously mentioned Grim Fandango and Day of the Tentacle Remastered as well as Massive Chalice and Brutal Legend.

Full Throttle Remastered will retail for $14.99 at launch, but pre-ordering it now will cost you only $11.99.
