Earlier this summer, we heard about the return of gaming network G4. While details were scarce at the time, it was revealed the TV network would be getting a revival in 2021. Now, we’re starting to see some talent join the mix.
The G4 Twitter account posted a new promo starring Adam Sessler as “Crazy Adam”. The promo reveals that the resurrected network is looking for all kinds of new talent and hosts. The network is looking for both current big-name content creators and unrecognized talent, INCLUDING YOU! You must be 18 years or older as well as be a legal U.S. resident to apply. G4 also notes they may stop accepting submissions if they hit a high volume, so apply ASAP if you’re interested.
Here’s how to submit yourself:
- Put yourself on camera doing something great! (2 minutes or less please)
- Upload your audition tape to Twitter, Instagram, or this very Reddit thread!
- Tag it with the hashtag #G4NeedsTalent
- You can also email the link to your audition tape to [email protected]
For those out of the loop, G4 was pretty much the ESPN or Sportscenter of video games. It had this great blend of delivering informative gaming content with a dose of humor. G4 was one of the most mainstream ways of finding E3 and Comic-Con coverage as well. It also kickstarted the careers of Geoff Keighley, Oliva Munn, Morgan Webb, etc.
G4 is slated to return in 2021.
