G4 is making an official return in 2021

Remember the 2000s when you’d watch E3 on G4 instead of Twitch or YouTube? Remember Attack of the Show or X-Play? No? You may be really young, then. For those that do remember, beloved TV channel G4 is making a return in 2021.

We don’t know if this will be on television or if it’ll be via an online service like YouTube. The G4 Twitter account was resurrected this morning to make the news via a cryptic teaser with a long-running game of Pong. The teaser ends with the phrase “We never stopped playing” as the G4 tune plays. Whether or not any of the show’s beloved cast will return remains a mystery.

That said, G4’s former host, Adam Sessler did respond to the teaser. “Well, this is curious turn of events,” said Sessler. The TV network had a beloved group of cast mates including Geoff Keighley and Hollywood star turned X-Men, Olivia Munn. One would hope that a few of these people return but it’s up in the air for the moment. G4 went off the air in 2014 after a 12 year run on television.

We’ll continue to keep you posted as this story develops.
