Game Dev Tycoon on its way to Steam

Ever thought of running your own successful game development studio, but the battery life on your phone or tablet won't let you? Worry not, you can do so from Steam starting on August 29 — that's when Game Dev Tycoon comes to Steam for PC and Mac.

Developer Greenheart Games announced on its blog that the game is available for pre-order on Steam for $7.99, down from $9.99. If you already own the game, you'll receive a Steam key for free.

New features for the Steam version are a longer storyline, new platforms to develop games for, new artwork and the ability to edit the name of a game before you release it. You can also unlock multi-platform games, and there's a rebalanced review system, as well as new gameplay mechanics and post-release game reports.
