Game Director Steven ter Heide Leaves Guerrilla Games After 12 Years

Yesterday, Game Director Steven ter Heide posted to Twitter, announcing his departure from Guerrilla Games. The studio, and ter Heide, are known for games such as Killzone, RIGS, and Horizon: Zero Dawn

Steven der Heide mentions his leaving of Guerrilla Games is so that he can start "something new," though no details have been made public as to what that something is.

Guerrilla Games responded to his tweet in a friendly fashion, thanking him for everything. "Thank you for everything, you will be missed! We wish you all the best on your new adventure!"

Considering ter Heide's involvement in the Killzone series, this leaves questions about the future of the series. However, with the success of Horizon: Zero DawnKillzone may be on the backburner anyway. We're excited to see what's next for Steven ter Heide.
