Game of Thrones actor confirms role as villain in Deadpool

Ed Skrein, perhaps better recognized as Game of Thronesl Daario Naharis v1.0 (the good looking, pretty boy version), has confirmed his role in the upcoming Deadpool film.

Taking to Twitter, Skrein posted an image of his seat on the Deadpool set, revealing his role as Ajax in the film.

Prior to taking on the name Ajax, the character was known only as Francis, a longtime government operative that underwent cybernetic enhancement by Doctor Killebrew in the Weapon X program. With superhuman strength and speed alongside the inability to feel pain, Francis served as an enforcer at Killebrew's labratory (the Workshop). Francis was directly responsible for Wade Wilson's transformation into Deadpool and was eventually killed by him. However, he was later found to have survived Deadpool's attack, assuming the new identiy of Ajax.

It's unclear how closely the upcoming Deadpool movie will follow Ajax's original storyline, but you can bet we'll see some intense interaction between the two.
