Game of Thrones’ Hodor Actor is the center of a new KFC commercial in the UK

If you're a fan of Game of Thrones, the phrase "Hold the Door" was forever changed during Episode 5 of Season 6. In a recent KFC ad that was released on YouTube, Hodor actor, Kristian Nairn stars as a store employee who braves the lunchtime rush on his own, recreating that famous scene.

Here's the commercial:

The ad is titled "Lunchtime is coming…," and reveals a new Chicken and Rice box as a healthier alternative to Chicken and Fries over in the UK. Much like the "Hold the Door" scene, Nairn's character is forced to repeat a single phrase, "Chicken with Fries" over and over again until it loses all meaning, and eventually becomes "Chicken with Rice."

Too soon? Maybe.

But at least Chicken with Rice is delicious.
