The great Blizzard of 2016 may be here already, but folks in Game of Thrones are still anxiously awaiting winter. With Game of Thrones Season 6 now three months away from its premiere, HBO is ramping up its promos. The premiere network took to Twitter with a clever promotion which encourages fans to declare their allegiance to one of three houses by using a hashtag. In doing so, you are rewarded with a short promo video that house, although the videos for all three houses can be seen below.
House Lannister
Pledging to House Lannister delivers you a threat from the High Sparrow: “Every one of us is poor powerless. And yet, together we can overthrow an empire.” The "Shame!" speta is heard ringing out in the background; anyone who watched season 5 knows what that's referring to.
House Stark
Pledging to the beleaguered House Stark the crazed Ramsay Bolton, who declares "Winterfell is mine, come and see!"
House Targaryen
And finally, those who pledge to House Targaryen are offered little hope as well, as the video, spoken in Dothraki, is translated: "You are nobody, the millionth of your name, Queen of Nothing."
Unfortunately, if you identify with House Tyrell, House Martell, or House Greyjoy, you're a bit out of luck for now. But with three months to go until Season 6 premieres, there's still plenty of time for more videos.
Game of Thrones returns April 24, 2016. Actress Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Stormborn, of House Targaryen. Queen of the Andals and the First Men, Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea, Breaker of Chains, and Mother of Dragons) promised some of the "biggest moments on television that have ever existed."
