Gameloft promises to bring top games to Snail’s OBox

CES brings tons of technology to the forefront, sometimes it even shows off new gaming technology. Yesterday, we got a peek at the latest Android gaming handheld and in-home console, the Obox by Snail.

Snail's Obox will come equipped with a 32-bit NVIDIA Tegra K1 processor – the same amount of power as the Shield Tablet and is already claiming support from an Android game publisher.

Gameloft, a leading publisher of games, will optimize five of its most popular games for the OBox: Brothers in Arms 3: Sons of War, Asphalt 8: Airborne, Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour, Wild Blood and Gods of Rome (when it releases). Gameloft reports that they are "thrilled" to be bringing their games to Snail's Obox. When it comes to gaming you'll be able to choose between the Obox's controller or Snail's gamepad.

The Obox will be releasing in February in China, then shortly after in the United States.

What do you think of the Obox?
