Gamers report Nintendo Switch battery drainage issues; Possible fix

Nintendo Switch owners are reporting an issue where their Switch's battery drains abnormally fast. The reports are coming from Japanese Switch owners, European owners, and from North America Switch owners.

With Switch owners from around the globe reporting similar issues, it appears as though this is not a region-specific issue. So, what's the issue really?

Well, Switch owners have been picking up their fully charged units only to see their battery dropping from 100% to 1% in no time, like so:

One Switch owner has reported that turning off the battery screen display and turning it on again has resolved the issue. Another user has stated that the latest firmware update resolved the issue.

If you have this issue and have found a fix, please let us know.
