Towards the beginning of December, Michael Ephraim, the Managing Director of Sony Computer Entertainment Australia, admitted that Sony didn't offer much to PlayStation 4 owners in 2015 – as far as exclusives go.
According to Sony's Worldwide Studio President, Shuhei Yoshida, 2016 is going to be a very different scenario for PS4 owners.
"2016 marks an unprecedented rush of big titles for PS4," Yoshida said to Japanese site 4Gamer. "It's also the year of the long-awaited launch of PlayStation VR. It's the year PS4 users, and those who are on the fence on whether to buy it will absolutely think, 'It's good to have a PS4.' Please look forward to it."
It's not hard to say that the PS4 will be seeing some games this year with Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, The last Guardian, Gran Turismo Sport, Horizon: Zero Dawn, and Street Fighter V releasing in 2016. As far as the PS VR goes, Sony has confirmed 53 games for the PS4 that will be compatible with the virtual reality headset. As far as pricing and release goes, the only thing that's been said (more or less) is that the PS VR will be releasing in 2016.
As we make our way into 2016 we will undoubtedly hear about more PS4 games that have yet to be announced.
