Games with Gold: Deadlight free for Xbox 360

Starting today, Xbox LIVE Gold subscribers can download this month's second free game through Games with Gold, Deadlight. Developed by Tequila Works, Deadlight is a sidescrolling survival game where players assume the role of Randall Wayne, a man searching for his family across Seattle. Here's the official description:

The world has ended. There is no hope. No new beginning. Only the survivors. DEADLIGHT follows the journey of Randall Wayne, a man searching for his family across Seattle during the aftermath of a 1980s event that has decimated life on earth. This visually stunning Cinematic Survival Platformer will challenge you to run, jump, climb, and struggle for your life as you look for answers and the ones you love.

When Deadlight was first released, it scored a 7/10 here on GameZone. It's normally priced at $14.99 on the Xbox Games Store, but you can grab it for free through April 30 if you are a Gold member. And remember, once you download it for free, it's yours to keep forever.

Unfortunately, the arrival of Deadlight means we say goodbye to Hitman: Absolution which was the Games with Gold free game for the first half of April.
