Games with Gold for Xbox One making its debut in June

Gamers waited patiently for Microsoft to finally implement Games with Gold to the Xbox One. After all, the PlayStation 4 started its PS+ Instant Game Collection as soon as the PS4 launched. Well, as they say, better late than never.

Microsoft will offer two games on the Xbox One, Max: The Curse of Brotherhood and Halo: Halo Spartan Assault.

Max: The Curse of Brotherhood takes the titular hero, Max, in a sequel to Max and the Magic Marker, and pits him on a platforming/puzzle adventure to save his little brother from another dimension.

Halo: Spartan Assault on the other hand lets players assume the role of a Spartan in a top-down shooter that originally released on Windows Mobile devices.

A single Xbox Live Gold subscription will allow gamers to download both the Xbox 360 Games with Gold, as well as the ones coming to Xbox One.
