Games for Windows Live Giving Away 1 Million Microsoft Points

In a recent partnership move, Games for Windows Live and Xbox.com have joined together to bring you your favorite games for both the Xbox 360 and PC all in one place. Microsoft is celebrating this transition by giving away 1 million MSP to a lucky US participant.

The giveaway is as straightforward as they come; all you have to do is make a Games for Windows online purchase between July 25 and August 1 to receive an e-mail code for 400 Microsoft Points. After August 1st Microsoft will pick one lucky GFWL user to win the 1 million MSP.

The fine print for the promotion can be seen below:

*Limited time offer good only to the first 2,500 legal residents of the 50 United States or Washington, D.C. 18+ who complete an online Games for Windows purchase between 12:01 A.M. PT on July 25, 2011, and 11:59 P.M. PT on August 1, 2011, or while supplies last. Limit one (1) gift per person. Promotinal redemption code will be sent to the e-mail address tied to your Games for Windows Live account within 4-6 weeks after offer end date and must be redeemed by 11:59 P.M. PT on June 30, 2012. Valid e-mail required; any promotional redemption code not redeemed or claimed, or returned as non-deliverable, will not be re-sent. Microsoft will not be responsible for any late, lost, misrouted, or non-delivered e-mails—or any other network, Internet, or other computer- or communications-related failures—caused by events beyond the reasonable control of Microsoft. This offer is nontransferable and is not redeemable for cash. Taxes, if any, are the sole responsibility of the recipient.

Good luck!
