gamescom 2014: Paradox Interactive reveals Hollowpoint for PS4

The PlayStation 4 is having a mighty busy day thanks to Gamescom.  Paradox Interactive added to the list of newly announced with their side scrolling tactical shooter Hollowpoint.

The game takes place about 100 years in the future, a time when corporations have seized control of every day life and battle one another for control. It's not "let's meet in the office and discuss this" battling. It's "let's buy mercenaries and have them fight that corporation" battling.

The game itself is a mesh of traditional 2D and over the shoulder 3D shooters. It will feature upgradeable weapons and missions that aren't 'routine.'

The best part is the Hollowpoint can be played solo or with up to four friends. Check out the Gamescom trailer below!

Hollowpoint will be available in 2015.
