Gamescom 2016: Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom gets new gameplay trailer

Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom represents the return of a classic game series, simply titled Wonder Boy, that is over 30 years old. The last game in the series released in 1994 and was called Monster World IV. To celebrate the series' 30th anniversary, FDG Entertainment has teamed up with the series' creator Ryuichi Nishizawa to make a modern revival with Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom.

The game will have a presence at Gamescom 2016 later on this week, and to celebrate the developers have released the official Gamescom trailer for Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom.

Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom blends action-adventure, side-scrolling and puzzle mechanics and brings them all into a color and connected game world. The game is aiming to run at 1080p and 60 FPS and will release on Xbox One, PS4 and Steam in Q1 2017.
