Gamescom 2016: Seasons After Fall releases new trailer

What does the fox say?

I must resist writing all the different fox noises I can think of. That said, Seasons After Fall is an upcoming narratively focused, puzzle platformer for PC about a Fox with the power to control the seasons. Players will use this power to manipulate the environment to be able to progress through each level. For instance, you can use the rain from Spring to raise water levels, and follow it up with a wintry blizzard to freeze it in order to give you a clear pathway.

Seasons After Fall will use a hand-drawn 2-D art style with an enchanting soundtrack recorded by a live string quartet, both of which will accompany you on your journey to find the game's Four Guardians, large ancestral creatures who embody the essence of the Season they are protecting, as you seek to restore order to the forest. The fox will be guided by an enigmatic spirit in search of the fragments of the Seasons, and by combining the fragments, the Ritual of the Seasons will be able to be performed, which will allow the spirit to realize her dreams.

Seasons After Fall will release on PC sometime in September and is totally what Ylvis was singing about…
