Gamescom 2016: Watch Destiny: Rise of Iron gameplay right here

Bungie has been preparing Guardians for the next step in Destiny gameplay, Rise of Iron, for a couple of months now. Rise of Iron will truly be the next step in Destiny, considering that Bungie is officially abandoning the Xbox 360 and PS3 player base with the release of this expansion.

With "90%" of Destiny's player base on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, Rise of Iron marks a new chapter in Destiny. The expansion will be bringing a slew of new content to both Xbox One and PS4 players, but PS4 players will be getting a bit more.

According to new details, PlayStation 4 players will get an extra PvP Map, Quest, and ship when the expansion launches later this year.

Before all that happens, though, Bungie is livestreaming the coming expansion during Gamescom at 1PM  ET/10AM PT. Check it out below!

Rise of Iron is set to release on September 30th.
