[Gamescom 2017] Assassin’s Creed: Origins gets new CGI trailer

While we've been getting plenty of looks at the gameplay side of things in Assassin's Creed: Origins, Ubisoft brought a more world-oriented look at the game for their Gamescom 2017 showcase. A CGI trailer kicked things off for Microsoft's Xbox @ Gamescom Live show and focused not just the game world, but a few of the significant historical figures that will play a role in the game (embedded above).

As you can see Cleopatra, Julius Caesar, and Ptolemy will all be present in the world of Assassin's Creed: Origins. Though, whether Bayek plays a role in their demise, or simply takes quests from them ala Leonardo Da Vinci remains to be seen.

Assassin's Creed: Origins releases on PC, PS4, and Xbox One on October 27th, 2017.
