With the PlayStation Vita a little less than a month away from its United States and European launch, GameStop has begun its Vita trade-in promotion.
When you trade in your old handheld system toward the purchase of a new PS Vita, GameStop will tack on an extra $25 of in-store credit.
The offer is only valid towards DS, DS Lite, DSI, DSi XL, 3DS, and PSP trade-ins and full trade value must be applied towards the pre-order or purchase of a new PlayStation Vita. The offer does not specify if it needs to be the 3G model or not.
The offer began a few days ago, but you have until February 6, 2012 to take advantage of this promotion. Check out the promotion here.
The PlayStation Vita with WiFi is being sold for $249.99 while the PlayStation Vita with WiFi and 3G goes for $299.99. Here is the entire list of PlayStation Vita bundles and peripherals.
