One of the last things we heard about the PlayStation VR headset was a rumor that the device would be pretty affordable. Unfortunately, we have yet to hear a rumor of a release date, besides the ever-vague sometime in 2016.
A slip from GameStop CEO Paul Raines on Fox News might have narrowed the release window down for the PSVR.
According to Raines, GameStop is "preparing for the launches of major VR products, so we are in discussions with Oculus, with HTC Vive and Sony." He went on to add, “Its a big launch (for VR), we’re getting ready for it, we will launch the Sony product this fall, and we are in discussions with the other two players.”
You can hear it for yourself, starting at the 3:00 mark.
