Gamestop is down, and amiibo are probably to blame

In case you were hoping to check out Gamestop.com, and possibly taking a glance at the new amiibo that went on pre-order today at 3PM EST, you're out of luck.

After waiting in line for about an hour at the store, in hopes of pre-ordering a few of the new amiibo, I had to call it quits. Their system was apparently down, not letting anyone in the store get their pre-orders in. And apparently this was a widespread issue. Eager to look online if they're available, I was greeted with the above message.

Amiibo are singlehandedly taking down Gamestop guys!
