NetherRealm's latest installment in the Mortal Kombat franchise is set to launch on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC next week, but at some point during hype-building for Mortal Kombat X the release dates for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions disappeared.
Specifically, during the Cage Family trailer the Xbox 360 and PS3 vanished from the screen where the release platforms were listed. It turned out that the platforms were removed because they were delayed until "summer."
According to GameStop's listings the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions will be releasing on June 2 — roughly a month and a half after it releases on the Xbox One and PS4. At least you have the Mortal Kombat X iOS and Android app to see you through till release… Let's be honest though, you might as well go out and buy an Xbox One, PS4 or PC to play the game when it releases on April 14th.
