Heading out on Black Friday in hopes of finding yourself a PlayStation 4 or Xbox One? We already know GameStop will have a "very limited supply" of Xbox One consoles for Black Friday, and it looks like the same will be true for Sony's PS4 as well.
Reaching out to GameStop about the PS4's stock during the busiest shopping day of the season, a GameStop representative told us, "Each store will have a limited supply of both Xbox One and PS4 consoles in stock for Black Friday."
Unfortunately, that's all the rep could offer, adding, "We encourage customers to contact their local store or visit GameStop.com to check availability in their area."
The PlayStation 4 released on November 15, followed by the Xbox One on November 22. Each console sold out of pre-orders and went on to sell more than one million units during their respective launch days. Even now, despite Sony and Microsoft pushing to replenish stock, both next-gen systems remain sold out at GameStop and other various retailers.
For those who don't mind paying a little extra, I suggest heading over to eBay where there are literally thousands of consoles being sold daily. You're going to wind up paying a little extra, but you don't have to fight the crowds or wait for a new shipment to arrive.
