GameZone PSA: Don’t forget to grab your free legendary Pokemon, Arceus, this month

Pokemon's 20th-anniversary celebration rolls on with a new month just getting underway and that means you can grab a brand new Pokemon completely free of charge. Most months, you can simply download the legendary from the convenience of your own home, but this month, trainers in North America will have to make a trip to the nearest GameStop to grab a code for Arceus, the original Pokemon (though not by number in the Pokedex).

Arceus is cool because it can become literally any Pokemon type simply by holding a corresponding plate. This makes it a very flexible and powerful addition to any trainer's lineup.

Nintendo has been giving away legendary Pokemon all year, beginning with Mew and has seen a multitude of others like Jirachi, Darkrai, Manaphy, and Shaymin. The giveaway will conclude in December with Meloetta.
