GameZone PSA: You can now get the Mythical Pokémon Magearna in Sun and Moon

About two weeks ago, it was revealed that Sun and Moon trainers would soon be able to access the Mythical Pokémon Magearna via QR code from the Pokemon Website. That day is today, and the event is officially live. To commemorate the event, Nintendo released a new trailer highlighting the Steel/Fairy type while giving us a few details about what we can expect from it.

Magearna is a Steel/Fairy type that comes to you at Level 50. Its hidden ability is Soul-Heart, and it comes holding Bottle Cap. To access Magearna, you have to beat the main storyline of Sun and Moon which unlocks the QR Scanner feature used to redeem the Pokemon. Once you unlock the feature, just head over to the official Pokemon website here, and scan the code.

The Magearna event will be live until March 5, 2017, so you have plenty of time to beat the game.
