DISTRIBUTION AGREEMENT

(Interplay
To Distribute Titles in North America For PC)

IRVINE,
California, December 6, 1999 – Interplay Entertainment Corp. (NASDAQ:IPLY),
and Austin, Texas based Blue Byte Software announced today that they have
signed an agreement for Interplay to distribute PC entertainment titles from
Blue Byte in North America. Included in the list of titles are Stephen King’s
F13, Battle Isle 4, The Settlers 4 and Dragon’s Lair 3D scheduled to ship in
the next two years.

have an absolutely outstanding product line up scheduled for calendar year
2000," said Mark Hall, vice president of business development for Blue
Byte. "Finding the right distribution partner is important for us.
With Interplay, I am convinced we have found that partner and think we
have the makings of a very successful relationship."
