If there’s anything Gears of War 2 fans love most about still playing that game, it’s the special XP events Epic puts on every now and then for the fans. Reaching that pinnacle point of level 100 not only shows how elite you are against the rest, you also get a shiny new logo next to your name and a worth-while achievement. But reaching such a point is no easy task as any fan will tell you, after level 50 leveling up starts to get insanely hard.
Luckily Epic has been hosting XP modifiers events, which so far has boosted XP up to eight times than normal. Now Rod Fergusson, executive producer on the Gears franchise, started a new campaign for the San Diego Comic Con event in which the number of followers he has would be divided by 500. Of course, the community took no time to take advantage of this so he capped it as 10,000 followers for 20x XP. Rod currently sits at 10,515 followers so mission complete.
