Since Battleborn's reveal last year, we've heard very little about Gearbox and 2K's ambitious "hero-shooter."
That'll change next month as Karl Slatoff, president of 2K parent-company Take-Two Interactive, confirmed Battleborn will be at E3 "in a big way," while teasing that more news will be shared about the game in the coming weeks.
"Next month, Battleborn will be at E3 in a big way and we will have more news to share about the title prior to the show," Slatoff said during the company's recent earnings call.
Battleborn is easily one of this year's most intriguing titles, if only because we know very little about it. When originally announced, Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford summed it up as a "FPS; hobby-grade coop campaign; genre-blended, multi-mode competitive e-sports; meta-growth, choice + epic Battleborn Heroes!"
15 minutes of cooperative gameplay was revealed in September of last year showing off the game's team-based approach in which you can choose to play as one of the vast number of unique characters offered. According to Gearbox, no two heroes play the same, and each has their own unique weapons, powers, and personalities that "can be fully experienced" in a cooperative campaign mission.
I don't know about you, but I can't wait to learn more.
