Gears of War 4 launches for all today, comes with a multiplayer update

Earn credits faster is always good

With launch day of Gears of War 4 officially here, The Coalition has announced a new multiplayer update that helps you earn credits faster.

The update comes after receiving feedback that the credits you earn take too long in order to purchase the higher end Elite packs. As a result, the price of the Elite pack has been dropped from 4000 to 3500 credits and you will also earn credits faster. The update announcement on the official blog did not state how much faster you earn them, but based on my calculations we're seeing an increase of about 30% each match.

You will earn credits whether you win or lose the match, but winning will net you more. The credits are part of the new system Gears of War 4 uses that lets you buy gear packs, cards as well as create your own cards with the new creation system. Make sure you pick it up as soon as you can, as Gears of War 4 is the third Play Anywhere title on Xbox One and PC.
