Quite a bit of information on the upcoming Gears of War game have been released by The Coalition's studio head Rod Fergusson, including details on how the gameplay is modeled after Gear of War 3, that Gears of War 4 might be longer than the original game and more.
We have even had a closer look at the three main characters for the game: JD Fenix, Delmont "Del" Walker, and Kait Diaz.
While all the new information is exciting, some fans have concerned that the action game took a turn towards being a survival horror game. What has incited these fears is unclear, but Fergusson is assuring fans that the game is still a true action game.
@P3NNYW3LL @JasonKeswani @Xbox @gameinformer no – we're not survival horror. We just wanted a darker tone. We're still an action game.
