Big news PC gamers! Rod Ferguson, studio head at The Coalition, dropped a bit of a bombshell on the set of The PC Gaming Show at E3 2015. Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, which had been revealed just yesterday for Xbox One, will also be coming to PC. The game will carry support for 4K resolution and Direct X12 and also promises to deliver a variety of visual improvements.
Gears of War is widely recognized as one of the best 3rd person shooters industry history, earning a score of 94 on Metacritic and has been a key cog (no pun intended) in Xbox's first-party lineup since 2006. The series has since spawned three sequels and will be getting a fourth official entry on Xbox One. There is currently no word on whether any of the other entries will find their way to PC, but when asked about the possibility of Gears of War 4 coming to PC (E3 gameplay trailer for Gears 4 can be seen above), Ferguson gave quite the non-answer with "Nothing to announce. Maybe we can talk about it at a later time."
