Gears of War Ultimate Edition officially listed for PC

The Gears of War Ultimate Edition has been officially listed on the Windows 10 Store. The game will support up to 4K resolution and have all new features exclusive to the PC version. According to the PC Gaming Show during E3, the game had been planned to suppork both 4K resolution and Direct X12 and it looks like The Coalition is delivering on their promise.

The full list of specs and features were revealed and pack a pretty hefty punch; A required 60 GB of storage space is required, and DirectX12 is required whether you wish to play in 4K or standard full HD resolution.

Running parallel with this is the rumor that Gears of War 4 would be headed to PC as well, but rumors were never officially confirmed or denied. The rumor had been tied together with the possibility of the Forza series being released on Windows 10, since the game already supports streaming from the device.

CAMPAIGN FEATURES:

• Every aspect of the original Gears of War has been beautifully remastered and modernized, including lighting, environments, characters, and cinematic scenes. This is the first at its best!

• Returning multiplayer modes include Warzone, Assassination, Execution and Annex.
