Genetic RTS, BOID launches with free multiplayer and optional paid single player

BOID is a fast, minimalist Real-Time Strategy game built with competitive multiplayer in mind. The best part about that is that the core multiplayer mode of the game is completely free. BOID also has an optional 10-hour single player campaign that interested players can purchase for $7.99. BOID strips out the mundane resource and economy management of many traditional RTS games and makes it all about making quick decisions and dominating your opponent.

The game also comes with an awesome Twitch integration feature that lets viewers change things up by enabling in-game modifiers and bonuses.

Here are the game's primary features:

  • Fight to claim the planet in a 10-hour, single-player campaign.
  • Create the perfect skirmish with bots and four difficulty levels.
  • Go online with ranked, unranked, and private 1v1 matches.
  • The more you play, the more your list of Friends & Rivals grows.
  • Create custom maps to share, and subscribe to your favorite creators.
  • Twitch integration allows viewers to participate in the game.
  • Color-blind mode for heightened game accessibility.
