Geoff Keighley casually drops by ResetEra to stoke some hype ahead of The Game Awards

Gaming's increasingly prestigious awards show, The Game Awards is just over 24 hours away, and the hype train running through the minds of fans everywhere is beginning to hit top speed. A recent thread on ResetEra that was being used to help generate said hype got a considerable boost when none other than Geoff Keighley himself dropped by to correct a fan's assertion that there would be no "huge new game" announced at the show.

Check it out:

Always the nice guy that Geoff Keigley is, even when it comes to putting people on the spot. Keighley posts once again later on in the thread to another fan claiming (or joking) that there won't be any "AAA game announcements."

What's interesting here, particularly in the first post, is that Keighley doesn't deny that Devil May Cry 5 is one of the games to be revealed at the show. Naturally, it's important to take these kinds of things with a grain of salt, as it's pretty easy to read too much into such a succinct response. But, it has been almost ten years since Devil May Cry 4, so you never know.

Fingers crossed everyone.
