Germany rules the Xoom different enough from the iPad’s design

Apple, not every tablet that is made after the iPad stole the iPad’s design.  Sorry, I know tablets have a similar look to them, but they aren’t all the same.  Just today, Germany courts ruled that Google’s Motorola Xoom tablet does not infringe on Apple’s iPad design patent.

Initially, Apple sued Motorola for infringing not one – but three iPad designs with the Xoom.  Ideally, Apple wanted the Xoom to get kick-banned from the European market.  After winning, Motorola made a counterclaim claiming that the iPad’s design patent is invalid.  This too was rejected.

Everyone is a loser!  Yay!  Apple had to pay two-thirds the cost and Motorola had to pay the other third.  In conclusion, everyone needs to calm the @#$% down.
