Get 50% extra credit at GameStop on game trade-ins this weekend

After wrapping up a promotion on trade-ins for the PS4 Pro, Slim and Xbox One S, GameStop is moving on. This time, they are giving gamers a pretty good deal on trading in games.

Anyone that's a basic member of GameStop's PowerUp Rewards program will get 50% extra credit for any game or accessory they trade-in this weekend. If you're a Pro member, you get an extra 10% on trade-ins – bringing the total extra credit to 60%.

Here's an example of the deals you could be seeing between September 23rd and September 25th:

Doom

  • Base trade-in: $15.40
  • Value after deal (basic): $23.10

Uncharted 4

  • Base trade-in: $16.50
  • Value after deal (basic): $24.75

Overwatch

  • Base trade-in: $27.50
  • Value after deal (basic): $41.25

There's more, if you're trading in a game towards NBA 2K17 or Destiny: Rise of Iron, you will get 20% in credit – it's unclear if these promotions will stack. However, this credit can more than likely be applied toward pre-ordered games or saved, so it could be a good deal!
