Get a glimpse at Legend of Korra’s animation development with Titmouse studios

Legend of Korra, Nickelodeon's follow-up to the amazingly successful Avatar: The Last Airbender, will be getting its own game in just days time. Developed by PlatinumGames, the title will bridge the gap between Books 2 and 3. However, the game will also include some gorgeously illustrated cutscenes that are very authentic to the game's look.

In this latest behind the scenes video, we get a chance to see the artists of Titmouse at work, bringing their work to life, starting at the storyboards, and ultimately ending up animated within the game.

Legend of Korra will have some awesome looking elemental combat, courtesy of PlatinumGames and their affinity for flashy animations. Players will be able to switch elements on the fly for some truly amazing looking sequences.

Legend of Korra will release on October 21st for PS3, PS4, and PC, and on October 22nd for Xbox 360, Xbox One.
