Carpool app, Lyft, is offering a "Ghost Mode" option allowing you to ride in the new Ecto-1 for a limited time.
The release of the Ghostbusters reboot is only a few weeks away, but in the meantime, fans and newcomers alike are wondering how the newest incarnation of the supernatural exterminators will hold up against its predecessor. Until then, you might have the chance to actually experience what its like to go out on a call with the Ghostbusters.
The popular carpool app, Lyft, is offering a new option when you request their service known as "Ghost Mode". When you use Ghost Mode in certain cities, instead of a run-of-the-mill car picking you up, it'll be the latest version of the Ecto-1 vehicle from the new movie.

The ride not only gives you the chance to tear around the town in the Ecto-1, but the journey also comes supplied with limited edition Hi-C Ecto Cooler and new 'Ghostbusters' themed Twinkies to stay fueled for your trip. The Ghost Mode option is available in Boston, Los Angeles, New York City, San Francisco, and Washington, D.C. Hours of operation run from July 1-2, 10am-6pm.
