Whether you recognize it or not, music can change the entire emotional aspect of almost any scene in a game or movie. That's why, Bethesda was extremely particular when picked the music that would set the tone for encounters in their post-apocalyptic wasteland in Fallout 4.
Whether you're listening to the classic tunes of the Diamond City Radio or the instrumental classical music station – you're going to be experiencing three times the amount of music than was in Fallout 3. The Diamond City Radio will be very similar to the Galaxy news Radio from Fallout 3, with a DJ that offers updates on what is happening in the game and your game progress.
The music featured on the Diamond City Radio will be the period music that pretty much defines the Fallout games, it's a station that at one point, according to Bethesda, had nearly too much Bing Crosby. “We almost had too much Bing early on,” laughed Audio Director Mark Lampert. “You could pack the whole list with Bing Crosby if you wanted to.”

Lynda Carter, the very woman that played Wonder Woman, will have five of her songs featured on the Diamond City Radio. Along with having her music featured in Fallout 4, Carter will be playing as Magnolia a club owner/singer/probably quest giver from the town of Goodneighbor.
