Techland is offering a sweet giveaway which should be of interest to fans of their games on any platform. If you already own Dying Light on any platform, you can claim a free Steam copy of the battle royale spin-off Dying Light: Bad Blood.
The first Dying Light set the world of zombie games on fire when it came out back in 2015. The Polish developer delivered a hallmark zombie title in the popular open-world action genre. Coupled with one of the best first-person parkour mechanics out there, Dying Light was an instant hit.
Enter a zombie-infested area and compete as one of 12 players to become the only survivor – or make a team and fight for survival together. Scavenge for weapons, destroy zombie hives to level up, and combine your advanced parkour mobility with brutal combat skills to outrun, outsmart, and outplay your opponents.
The long-awaited sequel to it is also set to come out sometime this year, despite just having been dealt an unfortunate delay. So, what’s better than getting an entire game in the franchise for free? That’s exactly what Techland did by offering their battle royale Dying Light game Bad Blood to every previous owner of the game. Even better, it doesn’t matter on which system you own Dying Light! Just head on over to the official website here and connect either your PlayStation 4, Xbox One or Steam account. You will need to create a Dying Light user account beforehand but it’s simple and free. So, it shouldn’t be a hindrance.
Dying Light: Bad Blood came out two years ago on Steam and tried to capitalize on the boom of the battle royale genre by mixing it with their already-popular Dying Light IP. It didn’t work out in the sense that not many are playing the game, but the good news is that it is actually a good battle royale game. Hopefully, this giveaway will breathe new life into it.
