Get Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon for free on PC today

Ubisoft's 30th birthday party is still going strong and starting today Ubisoft is giving away Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon for free to PC gamers as part of that party, and a week later they are giving it away for free to Xbox gamers as well.

Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon is the fifth out of six free games that Ubisoft is giving away for free as a part of their 30th anniversary. The first free game they gave away was Prince of Persia: Sands of Time back in June, then in July they gave away the first Splinter Cell, in August it was time for Rayman Origins, after that in September it was time for The Crew which was newest game of them all this far, and last month they gave away Beyond Good & Evil which was right in time for Ubisoft's to announce that Beyond Good & Evil 2 had entered production.

Now that we have reached November the people at Ubisoft have decided to give away Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon and for the first time they are giving away their game for free both on PC and Xbox 360 (it will be backwards compatible). While the 80's style crazy shooter loosely connected with the rest of the franchise with the name becomes available on PC for free today Xbox users have to wait until the 16th when Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon becomes free for Xbox Live Gold users as a part of the Games With Gold program.

To get your free copy of Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon on PC just to go to Ubisoft Club, agree to their terms and conditions, click "Get The Game Now" and follow the instructions. After that, the game will start downloading to your Uplay library. Just like all the other games Ubisoft gave away for free Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon will be yours for all eternity once you have it downloaded, this is not a trial, demo, or anything like that, once downloaded it is yours.
