Back in September we heard that Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance was going to hit the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. Since then, the project has shifted over to the PS4 and it's had some trailers released.
The game's theme is pretty similar to the games name, it's all about coming together and exacting revenge. Killia, the games protagonist, is looking to unite Overlords of the Netherworlds to exact revenge on the evil demon emperor, Dark Void, for conquering their land.
Disgaea 5 will borrow plenty of mechanics from previous games in the franchise, but it will add some new ones as well. There will be a revenge system for fallen allies, combo attacks between multiple characters, new classes and the number on on-screen characters has gone up.
Expect to see Disgaea 5 release in Japan in March 26th and sometime in the fall in the West.
