Tomorrow is a huge day for JRPG enthusiasts, Wii owners, and fans of making things happen through a united effort. The day is almost here, people. Tomorrow, The Last Story will launch for the Wii.
Gamers have been clamoring for this RPG to hit North America, and despite an apparent lack of interest from Nintendo at first, the company decided to give it to the fans and have the game localized. A lot of folks didn't think it would happen, but it did, and tomorrow the patience of Wii owners across North America will be rewarded.
Here's a fun fact for ya. Back when The Last Story was first revealed for Japan in 2010, I was still volunteering at another website trying to cut my teeth in this business. That's right, I wasn't even getting paid for this stuff! So it goes to show that it's been quite a wait for potential fans of The Last Story when you put it into perspective.
Whether you're one of the many Operation Rainfall supporters or simply a huge fan of grand RPGs, it's been the united support of all of us that brought the game to North America. I'll be picking up my copy of the Mistwalker-developed, XSEED-published RPG first thing tomorrow morning. Will you? If so, enjoy "The Last Story Day."
