Get ready to strap an Apple Watch to your wrist next month

For when you don't want to take your phone out of your pocket

One of Apple's main focus points during their press conference today was on their brand new hardware, the Apple Watch. This new snazzy device looks similar to to the iPod Nano, but will do a whole lot more.

Apple Watch is an incredibly accurate timepiece, an intimate and immediate communication device and a groundbreaking health and fitness companion. Highly customizable for personal expression, Apple Watch also brings an entirely new way to receive information at a glance and interact with the world through third-party app experiences designed specifically for the wrist.

So what will the Apple Watch cost you?

The Apple Watch Sport will be priced from $349 to $399, while the standard model will run from $549 to $1,099. And for those that want to spend the big bucks, an 18-karat gold Apple Watch will be available for $10,000. Holy crap!

Through all this excitement, I completely forgot to mention that the Apple Watch will be available on April 24th worldwide. Mark those calendars and start saving those pretty pennies.
