Get to know the cast of Resident Evil 3 in new Nemesis Trailer

Capcom has shared brand-new details about the cast of heroes and villains of the ambitious remake of Resident Evil 3. Together with an informative developer blog post, we also get a sweet new trailer showing the game in action. Watch it here!

Not long until the second full-scale remake of a classic Resident Evil title is becoming playable and developer Capcom has pushed a nice new gameplay trailer for Resident Evil 3. It’s only the second official trailer of the remake, so you’ll no doubt want to check it out. It’s full of awesome action and focuses on the many secondary characters this time. But the titular villain Nemesis is also to seen plenty here.

After last year’s excellent Resident Evil 2 Remake, Capcom has proven to gamers that they still know how to make great survival-horror action. After all, they kind of pushed the genre into mainstream success with the Resident Evil series during the PlayStation 1 era. Still, after spending more than a decade with the franchise in a much more action-focused setting, it’s great to see the series successfully return to its roots.

Nemesis, the hulking monstrosity that chases Jill throughout the streets of Raccoon City with a single-minded mission of terminating his target, may be one of the most iconic villains in video games. With Resident Evil 3 and Jill’s story of survival being rebuilt from the ground up for modern consoles, we’re taking a closer look at her pursuer, Nemesis, as well as others who have managed to survive the nightmare of Raccoon City so far.

Head on over to the official blog post by Capcom to read more in detail about the member of the Umbrella Biohazard Countermeasure Service, or U.B.C.S., noteworthy non-military characters and of course, monsters. With only Nemesis and the Hunter being showcased for now.

The Resident Evil 3 remake is releasing April 3rd for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
