Get Totally Accurate Battlegrounds for free on Steam, Offer only for a short time

Developer Landfall has, to the surprise of everyone, released a new game on Valve’s popular digital distribution platform Steam. Totally Accurate Battlegrounds is not only a mouthful but also offers a multiplayer experience in the battle-royale genre. And the best part, it is free!

Sort of. Developer Landfall has released the game for the low, low price of Zero Dollars, if you snag your copy on its Steam during the first 100 hours. The game will remain yours to keep after this initial period. So, don’t waste time and head over to Totally Accurate Battlegrounds page on Steam and claim your copy before the regular price of $4,99 gets introduced!

“The first 100 hours after the release will be free for all and that means free forever, if you get the game before the first 100 hours end you will NOT have to pay to keep it. The 4.99$ price after the first 100 hours goes to preserving the game such as server costs etc.”

Totally Accurate Battlegrounds started out as an April Fools parody of battle Royale games and Landfall’s own Totally Accurate Battle Simulator game which is still in development. Interestingly enough, this isn’t even the first joke-turned-real game Landfall has done. In 2016 they showed Supertruck which was again an April Fool’s project, combining their own game Clustertruck and time-control FPS Superhot.

After receiving a very positive reaction from the community to this year’s April Fools project, Landfall simply decided to work a few weeks on their pet project and release it as a normal game. As it started out as a fusion between Landfall’s own wacky, physics-centric strategy game and popular Battle Royale games, Totally Accurate Battlegrounds features the same hilarious physics. It comes with a single, huge map, vehicle and customization as well which should easily make for hours of fun.

Since the game has been released for free, there is already a healthily big population on its servers. Coupled with the very respectable high user rating of 86% currently on Steam, there is very little to not recommend trying the game out.
