Get World of Warcraft for free if you watch the movie in theaters

Hope you like being addicted, cause that's what you're getting.

After we got our first look at the upcoming Warcraft movie from director Duncan Jones during BlizzCon 2015, a survey came out that showed Blizzard's interest in supporting the movie with a free game. The survey suggested that the 'Ultimate Movie Edition' ticket would not only include access to the film, but also include World of Warcraft, along with all of its released expansions, a free month of game time and an exclusive in-game item.

According to Blizzard, this promotion has become a reality – except with a lot less stuff. Anyone who purchases a ticket to the film (from participating vendors) will receive a free digital copy of World of Warcraft. The codes for the game can be found on a card that comes with the ticket, the code can be redeemed from May 25th to January 1st, 2017.

That's right, you get the base game in the US – if you get your ticket at any of the following participating theaters:  Regal Cinemas, United Artists Theaters, and Edwards Theaters (if you're in Brazil you also get a month of game time).

In addition to that, more details on the tie-in transmogrification items have been released. The 'Replica Lion's Fang' and 'Replica Lion's Heart' for Alliance, and  'Replica Blood Guard's Cleaver' and 'Replica Staff of Gul'dan' for the Horde (as pictured below) will be given to World of Warcraft players when they log in between May 25th and August 1st, 2016.
